We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse facility. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move inventory.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and properly store materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Team player with good communication skills.
