Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and storage locations, ensuring items are placed correctly and safely.
- Pick products accurately for customer orders using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Pack items carefully into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment to move goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and workstations.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform tasks involving regular lifting, up to 50 lbs, utilizing proper lifting techniques.
- Support overall logistics operations by assisting with various warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required for motivated individuals.
- Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Willingness and ability to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic safety practices in a warehouse environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Team player attitude with good communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workspace and using PPE.
