Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare packing slips to orders.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, or product code.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper stock rotation and location management.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking up, packing, and sealing containers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and the use of PPE .
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety .
- Willingness to wear required PPE .
