Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies.
- Sort, stock, and organize merchandise in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safe lifting practices and assist in moving heavy items as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred but not required for motivated individuals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation is a plus.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics principles.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
