Join our team as an Order Picker in Jacksonville, Florida! We are looking for dedicated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick items for customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and staging products according to order specifications. Your role is critical in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled correctly and shipped out in a timely manner, contributing to overall customer satisfaction within our logistics operations. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Verify order accuracy to ensure correct items and quantities are picked.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of goods within the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
