Join our expanding team as a Distribution Center Associate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! In this role, you will be involved in a variety of tasks essential to our logistics chain, including receiving, sorting, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all operations. A strong focus on Safety is paramount, and adherence to all protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and awareness of potential hazards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work different shifts if needed.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
