About
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This is a crucial position within our warehouse operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where efficiency and accuracy are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Utilize handheld scanners to track inventory and update order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform quality checks on packed orders before dispatch.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse logistics and operational flow.
- Be prepared for occasional heavy lifting as part of the order fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with scanning technology.
