Sacramento, California is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our expanding **Logistics** team! This is a vital role responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse facility. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery to load, unload, move, and stack products. A strong commitment to **Safety** and operational excellence is a must. If you have prior forklift experience and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up) safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Moving inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Assisting with put-away and retrieval of stock.
- Performing routine **Safety** inspections of forklift equipment and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory movements.
- Adhering to all warehouse **Safety** protocols and wearing appropriate **PPE**, including **Lifting** aids where applicable and required.
- Working collaboratively with warehouse associates and supervisors.
- Ensuring efficient workflow and optimal use of warehouse space.
This position requires a valid forklift operator certification and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience. You must be comfortable with **Lifting** up to 50 lbs and performing other physical tasks as needed.
