In this critical logistics position, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Use scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory.
- Safely operate picking equipment, such as order pickers or forklifts (if certified).
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, following established guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to a supervisor.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and other operational tasks as needed.
- Meet or exceed established picking productivity and accuracy standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with WMS or RF scanning technology is a plus.
