Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our advanced facility in San Jose, California. This role requires a blend of technical aptitude and warehouse operational knowledge to ensure the efficient and safe functioning of our material handling systems and equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting repairs, and ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations. Your expertise will be crucial in minimizing downtime and optimizing workflow within our Logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with various warehouse machinery and a strong understanding of preventative maintenance. Proper use of specialized tools and mandatory PPE is essential for this role. While the role involves some physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs, the primary focus is on technical execution and problem-solving. Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning optimally and safely.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere to all company and regulatory Safety standards and procedures.
  • Operate and test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Wear and utilize all required PPE , including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection when necessary.
  • Support the overall efficiency of the Logistics and operations teams.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Proficiency in using required PPE and safety equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
