Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
- Transport materials to and from various locations within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts by properly relocating items.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper PPE usage.
- Support other warehouse functions and logistics operations as required.
- Ensure smooth flow of goods to meet operational demands.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator with demonstrated experience.
- Familiarity with different types of forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of safe material handling practices and logistics operations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Must possess a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
