About
Join our growing team as a Receiving Clerk in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the receiving process. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and accurately documenting all received items. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential. You will work closely with our Logistics team to ensure that all incoming inventory is processed correctly and promptly made available for warehouse operations. Prior experience in a receiving or warehouse environment is highly desirable. This position requires the ability to handle physical tasks, including Lifting and moving boxes and other materials. We are committed to maintaining a Safe working environment, and adherence to all Safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming trucks efficiently and safely.
- Verify contents of shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspect received goods for any damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record all received items into the inventory system.
- Stage received goods for put-away or further processing.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Use correct Lifting techniques when handling packages.
- Properly wear and maintain all required PPE.
- Support overall Logistics objectives through accurate receiving.
