We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our Kansas City, Missouri distribution center! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a physically active role, this is the opportunity for you. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy are key to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the smooth operation of our logistics process. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to Safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will utilize scanning equipment to manage inventory and order fulfillment. We are dedicated to providing a secure workplace where all employees are trained on proper procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. - Accurately pick products using an RF scanner and order pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Ensure all packages are correctly labeled for shipment.
- Assist with stocking and replenishment of pick locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing stations and work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate proper lifting techniques for items of varying weights and sizes.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
