Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled Material Handler for our busy warehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the movement and organization of goods within our logistics facility. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, efficient material handling techniques, and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Operating various equipment, such as forklifts (if certified) or pallet jacks, will be a key part of your daily tasks. We pride ourselves on a safe working environment, and all employees are expected to utilize the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety guidelines. This role demands physical capability, including frequent lifting of items weighing up to 60 lbs. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming materials.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Prepare materials for shipment and load onto trucks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas for safety compliance.
  • Adhere to all logistics and safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs).
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
