We are hiring an Order Picker for our Cincinnati, Ohio facility. In this critical role within our logistics department, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and efficiency are key to ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. This position involves navigating the warehouse, locating specific products, and preparing them for the next stage of the shipping process. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order lists or electronic devices.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare picked items for packing and shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols, including proper PPE usage.
- Communicate any stock discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Meet individual and team productivity goals.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Capability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all PPE requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
