This role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring that products are handled with care and efficiency from receipt to dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into warehouse storage.
- Move materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper material handling.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as organizing stock and cleaning work areas.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or demonstrated proficiency.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management is a plus.
