This position is essential for maintaining efficient inventory flow and supporting our logistics operations. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
- Store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and inventory control.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring secure transport of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain functions of the warehouse.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial. Must be able to perform frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs. Certification for forklift operation is a plus. Understanding of warehouse safety protocols is required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Commitment to Safety in all aspects of the job is essential.
