We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dedicated warehouse team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. Utilizing pick lists or RF scanners, you will navigate our warehouse efficiently to gather the correct items and quantities. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, which directly impacts customer satisfaction. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are required to wear appropriate PPE and adhere to all safety regulations. This role involves consistent physical activity, including standing, walking, and frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and possesses excellent attention to detail. You will work collaboratively with packers and other team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Locate and retrieve specified items with attention to product codes and quantities.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or staging area.
- Ensure work area is kept clean and organized.
- Meet established picking accuracy and productivity goals.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in team efforts to optimize warehouse operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product information.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
