We are looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and a high level of Safety. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating workflow, and implementing best practices in logistics and inventory management. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring all staff follow proper procedures and wear appropriate PPE. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to troubleshoot operational challenges. You will be instrumental in optimizing warehouse processes, reducing errors, and improving overall performance. Experience in managing diverse teams and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential. Your ability to handle multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide warehouse staff in daily operations.
- Ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Implement and enforce Safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and Safety protocols.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
- Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts.
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Strong understanding of Safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with all aspects of logistics and supply chain management.
