About
We are seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our facility in Columbus, Ohio. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our distribution center, involving a variety of tasks related to the handling, processing, and movement of goods. You will be responsible for order picking, packing, loading, unloading, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding high standards of productivity and efficiency within our logistics operations. Maintaining a safe working environment is paramount; therefore, strict adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE ) is mandatory. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting and moving of products, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks and trailers.
- Move materials throughout the distribution center using pallet jacks or other equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure all products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE at all times.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform tasks involving frequent Lifting and physical exertion.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics .
- Commitment to workplace safety and experience with relevant PPE .
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good communication skills.
