About
We are hiring Picker/Packers for our warehouse in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process and requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. You will be working with a diverse range of products, ensuring they are picked, packed, and labeled correctly. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential, as is adhering to all company safety regulations and utilizing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE ). This position involves considerable physical activity, including frequent Lifting and movement. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, contributing to timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate is a team player, possesses good manual dexterity, and is motivated to meet productivity targets. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order slips.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and warehouse area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents.
- Wear and use required PPE , such as gloves and safety shoes.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including some Lifting .
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand order lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Understanding and compliance with warehouse safety rules.
- Proficiency in using required PPE .
- Basic understanding of inventory and logistics concepts is a plus.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
