Embedded Support Technician
The Embedded Support Technician will primarily serve as a dedicated technical resource for the assigned client. In this highly visible, customer-facing role, the Embedded Support Tech will execute solid customer service skills while acting as a liaison between the client and the equipment. The ideal candidate will do whatever it takes to ensure optimal performance of AV and related equipment for meetings and events, apply proficient problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a prompt and courteous manner, and help guarantee an overall seamless and positive client experience. We are seeking a qualified candidate for this role based in the Boston, Massachusetts area. The position is mainly located on-site in Boston and may require up to 20% travel to additional locations within the Boston metro region and neighboring states.

What will you be doing? Executes positive interactions to preserve the client relationship in support of client retention. Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of new or existing customer service policies and procedures. Helps clients realize the full potential of products in use and act as a liaison between the client and customer service/client support specialist. Provides physical set-up services including but not limited to: equipment set-up; connect mixers to audio splitter/equipment for sound adjust volumes; pair frequency; perform sound checks Troubleshoots AV signal path issues, VTC issues, and or other equipment issues. Provides end-user instruction, guidance, and/or support in user-operation of products. Performs routine preventative maintenance checks and services to audiovisual systems including software/firmware updates, as needed. Why work for us?

As an Embedded Support Technician you need excellent communication skills, a strong AV technical aptitude, work well under pressure, and highly adaptable to change. Specific required qualifications for the position include:
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service role. 2+ years' experience in the AV industry in a support or installer role 2+ years' experience with video signal path, and audio signal path 2+ Years' experience with wireless microphone technology
Compensation & Benefits The hiring range starts at $70,000/yr. depending on experience and location. A comprehensive benefits package includes low cost/or free employee medical, employer full paid dental, and vision, along with a 401(k) option. Paid time off and paid holidays.
