About

As an Infrastructure/DevOps Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in delivering cloud-based solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation. You will be part of a collaborative and innovative team focused on developing infrastructure solutions that improve business processes and support our cloud initiatives of improving automation and utilizing AI tools.
This position requires you to be able to work onsite in our West Des Moines, IA office.
Essential Functions
Apply infrastructure as code principles to automate resource provisioning. Identify opportunities to incorporate both automation and AI tools into the current infrastructure and cloud environment. Utilize cloud management practices to enhance security and governance across multiple environments. Implement processes to ensure the infrastructure solutions are reliable and meet high-quality standards. Document findings, present insights, and contribute to cloud-driven strategies. Help solve technical challenges and debug issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications. Assist in designing and implementing observability and monitoring solutions across cloud, infrastructure and application solutions Requirements
An undergraduate or graduate student at an Iowa community college, private college, or regent university OR an undergraduate or graduate student who graduated from an Iowa high school if attending an institution of higher learning outside of Iowa Must be within 1-2 years of graduation Must have a declared major in a STEM field (STEM field includes all majors listed on the ACT-defined STEM majors and occupations by area list) Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation Demonstrated experience utilizing cloud technologies and DevOps tools Current GPA of 3.0 or higher required Experience with cloud services and infrastructure management preferred Experience with AI tools and incorporating those tools into a cloud environment preferred
