RJC are working with a major Oil and Gas company that are looking to expand their Data team. They're looking for a Data Engineer to play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports forward curve setup and management for crude oil and refined products. Job Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and automate forward curve setup processes for crude oil and refined products. Design and manage ETL workflows and data pipelines that feed pricing and risk systems. Support deployment and maintenance of curve management tools and analytical dashboards.
Required Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. 37 years of experience in data engineering or market data management, preferably in oil & gas or commodities trading (though commodities exp. isnt essential!) Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. Experience with ETL frameworks, data pipelines, and API integrations. Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and data warehouse technologies (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift).
This is an initial 6 month contract, with the view to long-term permanent engagement. Seniority level
