This position will primarily involve writing software for our flagship in-person venue. Please note this is not a traditional web product role. The software you build will power a real, physical environment, tying together interfaces, devices, and interactive systems that guests experience in-person! Who Were Looking For
You are experienced with React and Typescript You have a good eye for detail, while still knowing when to move on You have experience creating in-person interactive experiences, ideally in location-based or themed entertainment You can work effectively from rough mockups OR when no mockups are provided You have a strong sense of visual style and composition You take ownership of tasks, working holistically and proactively to see them through You make decisions quickly and problem-solve when a choice isn't working You notice what needs doing and take the initiative to figure out a solution You don't let questions linger and seek answers from multiple sources Qualifications
Must Haves Ability to commute to our studio in Needham, MA 2 + years of experience TypeScript / React / Node.js / HTML / CSS Graphic Design Experience / Adobe Illustrator / Figma Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; we are unable to sponsor applicants for work visas at this time Enthusiasm for location-based entertainment :) Nice to Haves GIT or similar version control Microcontroller / Single Board Computer experience (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Odroid) CouchDB $60,000 - $100,000 a year commensurate with experience Highly flexible work hours Retirement Savings Plan with employer match And more!
