Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is crucial to the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring that materials are moved accurately and safely from receiving to storage and then to shipping. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals and contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
  • Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Moving materials to and from production areas, storage, and shipping docks.
  • Scanning and tracking inventory accurately.
  • Performing routine checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse space.
  • Assisting with inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Supporting other warehouse operations as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Must be able to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) on a regular basis.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
