We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers for our Milwaukee, Wisconsin warehouse. This role is central to our logistics operations, focusing on the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that products are correctly selected from inventory and meticulously prepared for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Utilize scanning devices to record inventory movement and order progress.
- Inspect items for quality and ensure they are free from damage before packing.
- Pack products securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping details and tracking information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse duties is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs consistently.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and move for the duration of the shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety practices.
