Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items for accuracy against order details.
- Inspect products for any defects or damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack items securely for transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipping and ensure all necessary documentation is attached.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, tape machines, and box erectors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory tasks, such as cycle counts and stock replenishment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a picking and packing role or general warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and product quality.
- Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Must be capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- Proper use of assigned PPE is essential.
