We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Indianapolis, Indiana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to the efficient flow of goods within our distribution center. You will be handling a variety of materials, ensuring they are transported safely and accurately to their designated locations. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols will be paramount in this position. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key player in a growing logistics operation. Responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers.
- Moving raw materials, finished goods, and bulk materials around the warehouse.
- Stocking and retrieving inventory accurately using a forklift.
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assisting with inventory counts and record-keeping as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Requires the ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
