As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and products. Your duties will include unloading trucks, inspecting incoming goods, accurately stocking inventory, and preparing items for shipment. Proficiency in operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is essential, and comprehensive training will be provided if needed. We are deeply committed to maintaining a safe working environment, and all team members are required to adhere to stringent safety regulations and utilize designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires significant physical capability, including the ability to perform frequent and substantial Lifting of products. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies upon arrival.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Stock inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and rotation.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for outgoing shipments.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Must be able to perform heavy Lifting (up to 70 lbs) regularly.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and logistics operations.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Good organizational skills.
