This role involves regular lifting and requires good physical coordination and spatial awareness. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus for this logistics position.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and unstack materials.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Support shipping and receiving operations.
- Perform regular inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
- Keep warehouse aisles and work areas clear and organized.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator with verifiable experience.
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial judgment.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
