Manage a board of drivers daily

You would manage your own fleet of drivers by coordinating  daily activity, assisting with inquires and work closely with the  Customer Service Department. *This position would be required to work every 5th weekend in Operations (½ day Saturday and ½ day Sunday)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pre-plan, Coordinate, and Dispatch fleet loads with Drivers
• Ensure on time pick ups and deliveries to meet our Customer's needs
• Ensure Driver safety, including DOT compliance, safe working conditions, and maintaining TNi Standards & Policies
• Assist  Drivers with inquiries in regards to availability, mileage, fuel cards,  payroll, cash advances, home time requests, and other obstacles  throughout the day
• Assist with other requests made of the Operations Department
• Document Driver performance, issues and address needs accordingly
• Guide and assist Drivers through daily obstacles, including breakdowns and needs for roadside assistance

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Prior knowledge of the Trucking/Logistics industry
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Must possess good communication, interpersonal, proficient computer skills and analytical skills
• Looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize
