This role will require some travel to customer sites the first year, within the first month, travel to Los Angeles for a week is also required for onboarding.
Role Overview
MedGEO is seeking a Product & Project Manager with 3+ years of experience in health-tech software and or medical devices to lead both product development and project execution across customer-facing initiatives.
This role blends strategic product thinking with strong project management execution. You will partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, and Implementation teams, acting as a bridge between customers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and adoption of MedGEO's solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management
Define and own product features from discovery through delivery, aligned with MedGEO's roadmap and business objectives
Translate customer needs, regulatory requirements, and market insights into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog using Jira
Partner with engineering to plan sprints, releases, and ongoing product improvements
Track product success using defined metrics and customer feedback
Project Management
Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through launch, managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and delivery schedules
Use project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar) to track progress and ensure transparency
Identify and proactively resolve blockers, escalating risks when necessary
Provide clear status updates to leadership, internal teams, and customers
Customer-Facing & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as a key customer-facing contact during discovery, implementation, and post-launch phases
Collaborate with Sales on pre-sales discovery, solution alignment, and customer handoffs
Work closely with Customer Success to support onboarding, adoption, and long-term satisfaction
Partner with Implementation teams to ensure smooth deployments and timely delivery
Communicate effectively across teams using Slack and other collaboration tools
Qualifications
Required
3+ years of experience in product management, project management, or a hybrid role within health-tech or healthcare software
Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and issue tracking
Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder communication
Experience working with Slack or similar collaboration tools in cross-functional environments
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience supporting Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation teams
Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, security best practices, interoperability)
PMP, Scrum Product Owner, or similar certifications (a plus, not required)

Pay: $80, $130,000.00 per year
