Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Assist with food presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service hours
• Support menu planning efforts by providing feedback on dish preparation and ingredient quality
• Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and disposal of ingredients
• Participate in catering events and special functions as needed, ensuring high standards of service and food quality

Requirements

• Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably with fine dining experience
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and food industry standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests and supporting colleagues
