About the Role
Do you thrive on solving electrical and mechanical challenges? Are you the type who takes pride in keeping critical systems running smoothly? We're seeking a skilled Generator Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial standby power systems.

What You'll Do
Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on standby generators (air-cooled & liquid-cooled).
Conduct various accreditation testing, inspections, and performance tuning to ensure reliability.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues efficiently and accurately.
Provide exceptional customer service while explaining findings and recommendations.
Maintain a clean, organized, company service vehicle and accurate job documentation.
What We're Looking For
Generator service or related electrical/mechanical experience preferred.
Knowledge of residential and commercial generator systems (Generac, Kohler, Cummins, etc.) preferred
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals as pertains to generators preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and safe working habits
Valid driver's license & clean driving record
Ability to work independently—and in varying weather conditions
Preferred but not required:
– EGSA certification
– Experience with diesel, natural gas, and propane systems
– Electrical and/or mechanical experience and/or certifications
