Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address potential security concerns
• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across key areas
• Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or suspicious activities with appropriate action
• Assist in emergency situations by providing first aid or CPR when necessary and liaising with law enforcement or emergency responders
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes
• Enforce facility policies related to loss prevention and conflict management to ensure a safe environment

Skills

• Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and CCTV operations
• Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and basic emergency response procedures
• Experience or training in law enforcement or military disciplines is advantageous
• Ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively while maintaining professionalism
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices
• Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections
• Effective communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
