Key Responsibilities

• Heavy Machinery Repair: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on large-scale fabrication equipment (e.g., automatic beam I-Beam fabrication lines, hydraulic machines, coil slitters, and overhead cranes).
• Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including 3-phase motors, control panels, sensors, and basic PLC systems.
• Welding & Fabrication: Execute high-quality MIG/Stick welds to repair machine frames, reinforce structural components, and fabricate custom brackets or safety guards.
• Hydraulics & Pneumatics: Service high-pressure systems, including cylinders, valves, pumps, and hoses common in steel processing.
• Precision Alignment: Utilize mechanical skills to align gears, shafts, and rollers to ensure steel beams and coils meet strict tolerances.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5+ years in heavy industrial maintenance, preferably within the steel or heavy manufacturing industry.
• Mechanical Expertise: Deep understanding of gearboxes, drive systems, and heavy-duty bearings.
• Electrical Proficiency: Ability to read schematics and use multimeters to troubleshoot voltage and control circuits.
• Welding Certification: Proven ability to weld in various positions (certification preferred but not always required if skill is demonstrated).

Physical requirements:

Ability to work in a loud, industrial environment and handle the physical demands of large-scale machinery repair.
