Main Responsibilities

  • Lead a variety of clinical duties, including managing prescribing and wellbeing clinics.
  • Conduct audits and ensure safeguarding measures are in place.
  • Oversee clinical governance and key performance indicators.
  • Provide clinical supervision to nurses, conduct appraisals, and deliver training.
  • Shape service delivery and contribute to the provision of clinically excellent services.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an inspiring role model who is a senior nurse with clinical experience in a drug and alcohol setting. Your ability to build relationships with colleagues, commissioners, and service users will be crucial. You should be someone who can confidently engage and influence others.

Key qualifications include:

  • Working knowledge of safeguarding, substance use issues, and relevant legislation.
  • Ability to recognize indicators of substance use and the challenges faced by service users.
  • NMC registered with an active PIN.
