About

Job Overview
As a CNC Mill and Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling and turning machines. You will play a key role in producing precision parts according to specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process. Experience with Fusion is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes based on technical drawings and specifications.
  • Perform tool changes, adjustments, and offsets as necessary.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure they are producing parts to specification.
  • Conduct inspections of finished products using precision measuring tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and tooling.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar machining equipment within a manufacturing facility.
  • Strong knowledge of Fusion, CNC programming, CAM programming, and reading blueprints with GD&T specifications.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc controls, PLC systems, and tooling setup procedures.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools.
  • Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine settings.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
