Purpose of the Role

The Senior Field Engineer provides expert engineering support during the construction phase of projects, ensuring that designs are accurately interpreted, adapted to field conditions, and executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and sustainability. This role bridges engineering design and field execution, enabling projects to be delivered on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with customer expectations and Worley's ambition to lead the industry in sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead field engineering activities during construction, providing technical guidance and oversight to site supervisors, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Interpret, review, and adjust engineering designs to meet site conditions while ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Approve completed construction work to ensure alignment with design intent, quality expectations, and safety and sustainability objectives.
- Serve as a technical specialist and consultant to project managers, engineering teams, and site leadership on complex engineering matters.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure integration of design and execution activities.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, proposing safe, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible solutions.
- Prepare and present technical reports, recommendations, and progress updates to project stakeholders and leadership.
