We are looking for candidates that are local to the Denton, TX area who can work onsite. Come join our rapidly growing team!What Youll Do:Manage and secure our Microsoft 365 environment, including users, licensing, and identity through Entra ID (Azure AD).Administer Microsoft Defender across endpoints and email, monitor MDR alerts, investigate incidents like phishing or compromised accounts, and make sure security best practices are actually enforced.Own endpoint security and patching in our all-Windows environment, support email and network security, and handle onboarding and offboarding.Take ownership of systems and documentation and serve as the internal escalation point, working with vendors only when necessary.Provide higher-level IT support when access, security, or system issues come up.What We Look For:3+ years of solid hands-on IT or systems administration experience.Comfortable owning and managing a Microsoft security stack.Proficient with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Defender.Strong understanding of how endpoint, email, and identity security fit together in a business environment.While deep security architecture expertise isnt required, you should be confident operating these systems and recognize when to escalate.Experience working at or alongside an MSP as well as comfort being the primary IT owner in a growing company are preferred.*Please note that this is a general overview of the duties and skills required for the position of Microsoft Systems & Security Administrator.
