The magic you’ll perform
Collaborate closely with the frontend engineers to define and implement our frontend strategy. Take shared ownership of our library architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. Build and maintain high-quality library components using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Contribute to a culture of excellence by reviewing code, mentoring peers, and sharing knowledge with the team. Work with designers to create seamless and delightful user experiences. Actively participate in team discussions, explaining your solutions clearly while remaining open to feedback and suggestions.
Hard skills
8+ years’ experience as a frontend engineer React knowledge: React core principles, hooks, performance optimisation, accessibility, testing and best practices. TypeScript & JavaScript knowledge: Strong Javascript fundamentals, inclusive effective use of standard browser and ECMAScript APIs. Advanced TypeScript proficiency with experience in built-in utility types, authoring custom utility types, advanced type composition and designing expressive maintainable public type APIs. CSS knowledge: Strong pure CSS fundamentals, modern layout techniques, scalable styling strategies, design system-driven styling and state-based and interactive styling.
Soft skills
Great communication skills Active listening skills, allowing you to understand and consider suggestions The ability to explain your solutions clearly and respectfully Passionate about your work Reliable and hold yourself to a high quality standard in your work Curious and excited to learn new things! Fluent level spoken and written English is a must!
