About
Responsibilities
Carry out service and repairs on our rental fleet at various sites and at the depot
Preparation of equipment for hire
Fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electrical issues on generators, pumps and lighting towers
Identify parts required to facilitate effective repairs
Load test on generators to ensure effectiveness of equipment
Provide engineer support to depot operations
Schedule
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Overtime
Weekend availability

Skills Required
A good knowledge of diesel engines
Experience of working with generators and/or pumps
Good time management, ability to organise and prioritise work under pressure
Attention to detail
Good mechanical knowledge
Desirable But Not Essential
Previous experience within a rental environment
Experience of generator control systems and control panels such as Deep Sea and Power Wizard
Forklift license (training can be given)
Experience
generator: 1 year (preferred)
diesel engine: 1 year (preferred)
mechanical: 1 year (preferred)
hire industry: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification
Driving Licence (required)
