Job Details Are you a Salesforce expert with a passion for problem-solving and innovation? The City of Plano Technology Solutions Department wants you to join our dynamic team and take your career to the next level as a Salesforce Developer. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building, customizing, and integrating cutting-edge Salesforce solutions that power our core business operations. What Youll Do Design and develop custom user interfaces using Visualforce, Lightning Pages, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) Write efficient and scalable Apex classes and triggers following Salesforce best practices Use automation tools such as Flows, Process Builder, Workflows, and Einstein Orchestrator to streamline business processes Integrate Salesforce with critical systems like DocuSign via Salesforce APIs Collaborate with IT and other developers to ensure seamless system integration Maintain thorough code documentation and develop test classes for all custom code Manage release cycles and deployments using DevOps tools like Copado Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues impacting internal users Stay up-to-date with evolving Salesforce technologies and industry best practices Create and execute robust test plans to ensure solution stability and performance Demonstrate consistent attendance and reliability in your work schedule What Were Looking For Proven experience developing on the Salesforce Platform Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and Lightning Components Familiarity with Salesforce automation and integration tools Experience using DevOps tools (Copado preferred) for release management Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively Excellent communication and documentation skills Salesforce certifications (Developer, Platform App Builder, etc.) are a plus Why Youll Love Working With Us Innovative, team-oriented culture that values your ideas and contributions Opportunities for continuous learning and professional development Ability to work remotely up to two days a week after successful completion of six-month probation Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans Membership in the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS), with City contributions matching 2:1 upon retirement Enrollment in the Retirement Security Plan (RSP) fully funded by the City Up to three weeks of paid vacation Up to three weeks of paid sick leave per year Nine paid holidays Tuition assistance Free Library Card Free recreation center membership And so much more.
