Responsibilities Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native Contribute to web applications using React and Next.js Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement new features Design and implement RESTful APIs to support mobile and web applications Optimize application performance and ensure high-quality user experiences Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards Deploy applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store Manage app store presence, including updates, descriptions, and screenshots
Education/Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 5+ years experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar experience, or relevant software development experience
Knowledge/Skills
Proven experience as a Mobile Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role 3+ years of experience with React and React Native Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills Experience with state management (e.g., Redux, MobX) Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL Knowledge of mobile app deployment processes for iOS and Android Understanding of responsive design principles Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket) Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools Knowledge of serverless framework tools and best practices for deployment and management Understanding of Agile methodologies Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Technology Skills
Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Express, MERN stack) Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) Contributions to open-source projects
Work Environment
This position regularly works in an office environment. The role is based in the Boston office with an opportunity for a hybrid work schedule. Background Check
