Your tasks:- Be the single responsible for a P0, P1 and P10 project to lead R&D contributors in order to ensure the delivery on time (scheduling) of all R&D deliverables with appropriate level of quality, in respect of allocated budget & defined product costs, aligned with project milestones
- Responsible in front of the customer for all technical subjects of the project
- Anticipate issues, to manage risks and allocate resources to meet the target of the project committed at the PRKF milestone
- Apply the specific PDP of the PG/PL following CPM (CLEAN Project Management) & ASPICE, control and follow R&D deliverables per milestone according PDP and CLPP
- Schedule activity of R&D key steps (company and customer inputs) as called โL2 scheduleโ, establish detail break down of the activities to meet the milestones; responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting
- Manage Design Review and follow up of the actions plan to solve critical points, control and monitor the 8 golden rules (GSI-RD-653): applicable for project with embedded SW
- Responsible for budgeted R&D hours approved in CAA and/or IAR, ensure R&D budget will remain in the envelope until PRCL using monthly forecast and associated back on track plan if necessary
- Contribute to the identification of the R&D needs in terms of resources, equipment, investments for good project execution
- Manage R&D contributors: daily management of 1st level R&D contributors dedicated to the project, assign to them the work packages needed
- Perform weekly R&D meeting with all R&D project contributors (SLI, schedule critical path, budget, RAISE report) supported by meeting minutes; regular review with the R&D manager or Product Manager and the Discipline Department Managers
- Degree in Engineering
- Experience in R&D development activities, electronic and optronic skills, based on experience and/or trainings minimum 5 years experience with associated necessary skills
- Strong automotive domain expertise and product engineering knowledge
- Project management skills covering Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD)
- Ability to manage people, demonstrate leadership, and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Solid experience in risk management and problem solving
- Experience in product cost management and cost control throughout the product lifecycle
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes, including ASPICE
- Experience in design for manufacturing, working with both internal teams and suppliers
- Fluent English skills
