Property Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Property Maintenance Worker to assist with the general upkeep, repair, and maintenance of residential properties. This role is ideal for both someone with experience in property maintenance and for someone looking to start a career and learn hands-on skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, minor repairs, and basic landscaping
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repairs under supervision
• Conduct regular property inspections and report maintenance issues
• Respond to work orders and assist with tenant maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Maintain common areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and functional
• Assist with appliance maintenance and replacement
• Follow safety procedures and use tools and equipment properly
• Keep maintenance logs and report completed work
• Support emergency maintenance situations as needed

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• No prior maintenance experience required; training provided
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus
• Willingness to learn general maintenance and repair skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform manual labor
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Work Environment
