Outside Sales Representative – Chimney, Roofing & Water IntrusionWHO THIS ROLE IS FOR (READ CAREFULLY)
This position is not for entry-level sales, junior reps, or insurance-driven restoration sales.
We are only interested in experienced outside sales professionals who have consistently performed in construction-related, in-home sales environments and are comfortable working with clear revenue targets and accountability.
If you have not consistently worked toward defined monthly sales goals, this role will not be a fit.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- 5+ years of outside / field sales experience
- Documented history of meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets
- Minimum required monthly production: $70,000
- Proven ability to close high-ticket residential projects in-home
- Background in Roofing, Chimney, Masonry, or Construction-related Water Intrusion
- Strong closing skills and comfort with performance-based expectations
- Professional communication, organization, and follow-through
ABOUT THE ROLE
Chimneyz is a Washington-based contractor specializing in chimney systems, masonry, roofing, and water intrusion issues originating from roofs and chimneys.
We are not a flood or insurance-driven restoration company.
This role focuses on diagnosing exterior structural issues, presenting professional repair solutions, and closing residential projects throughout the Seattle Metro Area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform on-site inspections focused on chimneys, roofing systems, masonry, and exterior water intrusion sources
- Identify causes of water damage related to roof and chimney failures (flashing, crowns, masonry, ventilation, etc.)
- Present clear, professional repair and rebuild solutions to homeowners
- Close residential projects in-home and manage the full sales cycle
- Maintain accurate documentation of scope, pricing, and agreements
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth project execution
- Represent the company professionally at all times
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
- Minimum monthly sales target: $70,000
- Typical workload of 2–4 in-home appointments per day
- Consistent pipeline management and follow-up
- Strong closing ratios and disciplined sales execution
This is a performance-driven role designed for sales professionals who are comfortable being measured by results.
SCHEDULE & TERRITORY
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Field-based, on-the-road position
- Territory: Seattle Metro Area and surrounding regions
Generally within a ~60-mile radius of Seattle
- Service area typically ranges from Arlington to Poulsbo
- Appointments are strategically scheduled to create efficient, flowing workdays — not back-and-forth driving
COMPENSATION
- $100,000 – $200,000 annual earning potential
- Base + commission structure
- Earnings directly tied to closed residential projects
- Top performers consistently exceed the top end of the range
