Kennel Assistant

At Stoney Creek Pet Lodge, our goal is to provide the best care possible for dogs and cats for boarding and daycare. The ideal candidate should be passionate about working with animals and have an excellent attitude towards them and their families A kennel attendant is responsible for providing a safe, clean and comfortable environment for dogs. This includes cleaning kennels, feeding, bathing, and working in playgroups. We offer a flexible schedule but must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays. Must have excellent customer service skills and an ability to work independently under pressure as well as a team.

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
Clean kennels and play areas

Keep records of animal feedings and extra services

Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals

Maintain a clean and healthy environment

What You'll Bring:
Must be able to work evenings and weekends

Previous experience in animal care or other related fields is preferred

Must have a true love for animals

Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to lift 50 lbs
