Confidential – Program Manager, Greenfield Manufacturing Facility

The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of a large-scale greenfield manufacturing and distribution facility build. This is a career-defining role responsible for delivering a highly automated, world-class facility—on time, on budget, and built to best-in-class operational standards.
You'll operate at the executive level, reporting directly to the COO and Executive Steering Committee, with full ownership of strategy, execution, governance, and results. If you like complexity, accountability, and projects with real consequences (and real budgets), this one's for you.
This role offers a clear path for long-term advancement within 3–5 years, based on performance and impact. Translation: deliver, and doors open.
What You'll Do
- Lead the full lifecycle of the program from site selection through commissioning and production startup
- Own the master schedule, budget, scope, and risk management plan
- Manage all major workstreams, including:
- Construction
- Equipment & Automation
- Facilities & Infrastructure
- EHS
- Supply Chain
- Layout & Material Flow
- IT & Systems Integration
- Oversee and coordinate architects, engineering partners, general contractors, and equipment OEMs
- Ensure facility and equipment designs align for optimal automation, throughput, and efficiency
- Provide executive-level communication and run Steering Committee updates
- Deliver against safety, quality, cost, and performance targets
- Lead change management and stakeholder alignment across a complex organization
- Implement disciplined project execution systems, milestone gating, and governance rigor
Required Experience
- 10–20+ years leading large-scale manufacturing greenfield or brownfield builds ($100M+ capital projects)
- Experience in metal manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or paint/finishing systems strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of facility infrastructure (power, HVAC, utilities, building systems)
- Proven expertise in program management across integrated facilities and equipment platforms
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional executive communication and reporting skills
- PMP certification preferred
Compensation
- Base Salary: $185,000 – $210,000
- Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and performance
- Annual incentive plan eligibility, tied to business and financial performance
